Blackstar sprinted forwards running at an inhuman speed. Tightening his grip on Soul, he gathered all of his energy and swung Soul straight at Spirits gut. Spirit smiled menacingly and leapt into the air, missing the blade by millimetres. Blackstar skidded to a stop and span around, breathing heavily. Spirit landed lightly on his feet, "If you put all of your energy into just one attack then you'll have no chance at defeating me. A true miester would acknowledge this".
"Oh I'm just getting warmed up" shouted Blackstar, "I could beat you even if I had one arm tied behind my back and my eyes blindfolded. That's how big a star I am".
"Hmm, want to put that theory to the test?"
Before Blackstar could question this, Spirit waved his hands in a circle pattern, conjuring up the darkness and shadows around him, until his body disappeared from sight. Blackstars jaw dropped wide open as he held Soul up in a defensive position.
"Blackstar you need to remain focused" Said Soul gently. Blackstar lifted the scythes blade to his face where he saw Soul gazing up at him. "Don't let this phase you Blackstar. It's just another one of his tricks".
Blackstar relaxed his body and concentrated. He slowed down his breathing and toned out the world around him, focusing solely on the sounds that no ordinary person could detect. From behind Blackstar heard the faintest breathing, it was so light he was unsure if he had even heard it himself.
"Found you" he muttered. Blackstar spun around and flung Soul forwards just as a pale hand dispersed from the darkness and grabbed his wrist. A bolt of electricity surged through Blackstar, causing him to release his grip on Soul. Blackstar shrieked in pain as the electricity intensified and Spirits body finally emerged from the shadows.
"Blackstar!" cried Soul, quickly changing back into his human form. Soul sprang forwards just as Spirit flung Blackstar into the darkness. There was a massive thud as Blackstars body made contact with the floor. Soul growled fiercely and slammed his body into Spirits. Together they tumbled to the ground, with Soul managing to stay on top of Spirit the whole time.
"This is for Maka" Snarled Soul, throwing his fist into Spirits face. "And this is for Blackstar" he spat, throwing his fist into Spirits gut. Bearing his teeth he raised his knee, "And hell… this is for me and all the crap you've put me through" bringing down his knee he rammed it into Spirits crouch. Soul jumped off Spirits body at that moment and watched as Spirit wrenched over in pain and heaved blood. Lifting his arm slowly, Soul turned it into a blade. Using his other arm, the one that was not a weapon, he grabbed the collar of Spirits shirt up to him and pulled his face close, so close that he could feel Spirits sickly sweet breath against his own face.
Taking a deep, calm breath he said "We may not be the best weapon or miester, but when it comes to protecting Maka or my friends I'm an expert".
Soul pulled Spirits face even closer. Spirit flinched away. Placing his head next to Spirits ear he whispered, "I'll always win". With a quick, sharp movement, Soul shoved his blade right at the place where Spirits heart would lie. Spirit gasped in pain and rolled his head back as his body slowly started to disintegrate. Before he had completely gone, he whispered "Keep your friends close Soul, for if one wishes to protect them; one must be at their side at all times".
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Growled Soul…but it was too late. Spirits body burst into shards of light, and then he was gone.
Soul rose to his feet and stalked over to the young Maka. Holding out his hand he helped the young Maka to her feet and smiled at her. His grin stretched to the right hand side and covered the majority of his face. "It's over now, you don't need to be scared" he said gently.
"It may be over for us" whispered the young Maka, "but the evil one is dying".
Evil one? What did that even mean? Soul thought to himself, but then realisation hit him hard. The young Maka had referred to Blackstar as the evil one earlier on. Soul sucked in a breath and cried out Blackstars name, running in the direction he'd fallen. As Soul approached his body he saw shadow demons dragging him into the earth.
"Nooooo" yelled Soul, trying to quicken his pace. The demons smiled menacingly at Soul, revealing their razor sharp teeth. Blackstar limply turned his head to the side. "Soul" he barely whispered.
Soul reached him just as the demons fully dragged him into the earth.

my meister. soulxmaka CH. 1
I stuff my hands into my pockets
"I start at the DWMA soon and I don't even have a meister" I mumble to myself as I stalk around my apartment
"And on top of that I have to play piano at that stupid party tonight"
I make my way to my room, opening my closet and taking out my black suit with the white stripes, and a red tie.
I grin "whatever, they're paying me"
I put on my suit and take of my head band; I turn to look in the mirror. my eyes looked more red than usual.
"Am I not good enough to have a meister...? I just don't understand...how uncool"
I walk out of my apartment and down the street towards the party, taking my time as I d

June 24
That was the date hardly remarked on my calendar. The date I'd been waiting for for a month at least. The date when I was going to give it all to success.
Soul's birthday
My weapon was becoming sixteen, an age that, in my opinion, is pretty important for a teenager, right? I'd been thinking what to give him for a while. I ended up buying him a simple jacket that would surely fit him very well while riding his bike (I have to admit that the mental picture didn't disappoint me at all), but I still wanted to give him something more, something that, damn it my luck, I hadn't decided yet. Was it that difficult to give your partner a pre

Soul x Maka part 6
Soul's heart was pumping so hard. It felt like a dream. He was running to Maka but it felt like he couldn't run fast enough, like one of those horrible dreams. She looked up slowly to meet his eyes, he saw faint hope.
He wasn't going to make it. He could see the creatures in the corner of his crimson eye. They moved faster than anything he'd ever seen, faster than Blackstar. One pounced on Maka, everything moving in slow motion as it bit into her arm. Blood spraying from the tearing flesh.
A deep cry ripped from Soul's throat. He tackled the creature. Digging his fingers into the creatures head, frantically trying to pry it from Maka. He kn

Part 6 is finally here after about a year. Just like to say a massive sorry that it took so long. I've had quite a busy year due to exams and other happenings but I know that's not much of an excuse. Once again I apologise and I hope you can still appreciate it.
I actually wrote part 6 some time ago, but my computer decided to delete it, and then I guess I just couldn't be bothered.
But it's here now and I hope you still like it
You know what they say 'better late than never'
Hope you enjoy
